Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur – Globalist Experience Part 2

Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur – Globalist Experience Part 2

We returned to the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur on our last night in Southeast Asia while transiting between Cambodia and Taiwan. Throughout our time in Malaysia and Cambodia, I kept an eye on the standard suite availability for a possible upgrade, and was disappointed to see that availability was gone the day before we were due to check in. We were upgraded to a deluxe king room on the Hyatt app, and I was resigned to the fact that we weren’t going to get a suite once again. Upon check in, we were genuinely surprised when the hotel had in fact upgraded us to one of their best suites – the Grand Executive Suite!

Our jaws dropped when we saw a foyer as we walked through the door.
Past the foyer is a large living room.
The 1,500 sq ft suite is larger and nicer than most NYC apartments.
Not only did the suite have a living room,
there was a separate dining area off to the side.
I could get used to this.

Too bad we were only staying for one night, but this experience with Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur made it clear that Hyatt’s Globalist status is worth pursuing and maintaining.
